Our Small Farm Advisor and staff provide technical assistance to small farmers on the Central Coast and can help you understand and comply with the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act. This work is made possible through grant funding from USDA National Institute for Food and Agriculture and California Department of Food and Agriculture.
We provide one-on-one assistance with on-farm food safety risk assessment, mock audits, and development of food safety plans. On our website we provide factsheets, record keeping templates, and checklists to help you with your food safety compliance requirements. Our staff are fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish.
