Scouting and Pest Management in Diversified Vegetable Systems

Arthropod pests, including aphids, thrips, and spider mites, can be damaging on small farms. Using an IPM framework is the best way to manage these pests. IPM relies on a suite of techniques including scouting, cultural, biological, and chemical control options. This talk covered examples of each of these techniques and how to integrate them to manage various on-farm pests.
