The California Small Agricultural Business Drought and Flood Relief Grant Program provides relief to small agricultural operations that experienced a decline in annual gross profits due to drought or flood conditions between 2020 and 2022. The program is open now!
Storm/flood relief grants are open now for farmers who meet the following criteria:
Own and operate a small farm or agricultural operation in California that is currently active.
Is located in a designated flood zone (you can see the eligibility map here https://cadroughtfloodrelief.com/flood/. Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties are designated as flood zones.)
Had less than $2 million in gross cash farm income in 2022.
Had fewer than 100 full-time employees in 2022.
Are at least 18 years of age.
Began operating before January 1, 2020.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and are open now!
