If you have experienced farm losses due to extreme weather from 2017 onward, please join us to learn more about the CDFA CUSP disaster relief grants for California producers.
In the Central Coast, many farmers were negatively impacted by recent wind and rain events. These impacts include crop loss, destroyed greenhouses, and other damages. The CDFA’s CUSP program provides relief funding to farmers for such weather-related losses. The current grant cycle for 2025 is now open! In previous years, farmers in our region have successfully applied for and received CUSP funding as well.
Programs like CUSP play an important role in helping our local farmers face challenges related to extreme climate. If you are a small to medium scale farmer impacted by recent weather events, you may qualify for relief! Check out cdfa.ca.gov/cusp/ for more information.
